Students with well-developed social and emotional skills find it easier to manage themselves, relate to others, and develop resilience and a sense of self. Therefore it’s important to provide students with strategies to support their learning about themselves and others.

As a school curriculum resource, Rites of Passage expands and enriches students’ understanding of human experiences.

Rites of Passage can be used to teach:

English, Health and Human Development, Media, Sociology, Psychology and VET Community Services in Years 11 and 12.

Rites of Passage can also be used in the teaching of Pastoral Care programs in Years 10–12.
